 above: at the end of a week at one mission field, as we were leaving...I think it was Cebu...we were waiting for our ship and wandered around the city..and happened upon this little private "zoo" of sorts.....and I put this snake around my neck, yikes ! I survived

 above: this is a unique Filipino phenomenon...as we would arrive in our ship we would often see kids in the water hoping for us to toss coins to them...and they would quickly dive down and catch them before they sank to the bottom. good swimmers.
